Antari’s Quest

Chapter 1

She was beautiful, or so she was told. The old women, the Luminari as they were called, said that she had a beautiful body. “It is full and humanoid and curvy, like I remember them, but you are taller and stronger - that is the difference!” A grey-haired, withered old woman, said to be over two hundred years old, had whispered this to her. “It is a body that in the old days would be made for sex!” But hardly had the words left her mouth than the old woman groaned and twisted sideways with pain and slunk away, leaving Antari feeling guilty. No one talked about sex in the Dorcastron Colony and if they tried they were punished.

Antari’s guilty feeling did not last long. Personally she had plenty of pleasures, including sex of course. As a high-ranking member of The Order she could have whatever she wanted, up to a point. She only had to feel a little horny and begin to think about being naked with a beautiful boy and he was there. In the blink of an eye she would be on a soft fragrant bed, music would be playing and a golden youth would kiss her gently and roll on top of her and thrust into her. It could be quite pleasant and she guessed that some of her friends would have sex like this three or four times a day, though they never spoke of such things. But Antari was bored of the mechanoid golden boys, who all looked alike, smelled alike and behaved in exactly the same way. If she thrust back or tried to get on top then the boy would stop and politely climb off the bed and withdraw with a deferential bow. And there were no men; even android men did not feature. She had asked for sex with a man repeatedly, and got no reply, only another golden boy walking naked into her room. It was very frustrating.

At least her wicked thoughts brought her no sudden pain. There was no punishment for Antari: there never was real punishment for someone so high in The Order, just a blank weariness that came over her, as if it was slipped silently into her bloodstream. It made her lethargic and sleepy, but in the end - more defiant. Thankfully no-one could fully control all her thoughts. They knew she was dissatisfied, and they watched her day and night, her thoughts, her words, and her actions. She knew she was being saved for “Glorious Procreation” and her teachers told her that her turn would come soon: she would be mated with a Dorci, one of the powerful male leaders of the colony. She had never seen one: but she had heard that they were very ancient. That was her fate. She hated the idea.

One day a new teacher arrived. All lessons were in the morning, were one to one, and usually given by an android, but sometimes one of the Luminari took over.
